Ready Steady Go Kids: Love for Sport

Ready Steady Go Kids: Love for Sport

This isn’t the first time that Yñigo had summer classes, but it’s the first time I really saw him look forward to something he loves. I felt it!

Looking for proper summer activities can be quite difficult given the range of choices offered. But if there’s one thing I know Yñigo would love, apart from art - it’s sports.

Letting your kids engage in sports can provide all sorts of mental, emotional and physical benefits. In fact, the effects of childhood participation in sports and mobile activities can leave a lasting impact that would be ingrained in their systems.

Ready Steady Go Kids Philippines (RSG) truly believes in the power of sports, and wanted to provide high quality, physio-designed programs that can educate children on the fundamentals of various sports. It’s Australia’s largest and most reputable multi-sport & exercise program for preschoolers, and we feel so lucky to have the change to experience this!

They have a fun, non-competitive and team-based environment for kids that focuses on specific gross motor, balance and coordination activities, facilitated by trained professionals. We picked the Circulo Verde branch and we are so lucky to have Coach Sonny be the one assigned and facilitating the sessions.

Ready Steady Go Kids seeks to develop a lifelong passion for physical activity and sport. They want to reap the benefits of sport to mold confident kids that will not only help them prepare for school, but also how they are in the broader community.

The 1.5 hour drive to participate in a 45 min - 1 hour RSGK session with Coach Sonny (and Coach Peach) is worth it.

I firmly believe that the educators or facilitators are one of the biggest influences in decision-making for parents who enroll their kids in institutions or classes. Personally speaking, a program can always be good and world-class and have all sorts of credentials - but nothing beats having a guide, an educator to help kids go through this process of learning & discovery.

It’s also a plus that the coaches have a Level 1 Coaching qualification under the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme from the Australian Sports Commission, and are all trained in First Aid - so I am confident they are prepared for any kind of scenario!

Their class size is limited from 6-12 students, ensuring all your kids are accommodated and given the proper guidance.
